Hideaway Pizza in Crestview

The pizza is honestly not that great. The cheese tastes cheap and the sauce has a sweet taste to it which is strange. I gave it two stars because it reminds me of school lunch pizza (Pre Michelle Obama because she ruined school lunches). And yes, I'm serious about the taste of the pizza, and yes this is an honest review. Aside from the pizza though, the staff is friendly and helpful as they assisted my wife with locating the curbside pickup during the strange times we live in now. The pizza was made fairly fast as well (only a 15 minute wait time).

They have the best pizza around .Have a Great Lunch buffet or order off menu

A must eat here every time you visit Crestview. They have extremely good pizza crust and they do not use the cheese sparingly. The buffet is simple and small. I recommend sharing a custom pizza and having leftovers to take home. Soooo good. I thought only my dad made pizza taste like this.

I think they put more cheese on their regular pizza than most pizza places do. It is very good, full of cheese. I also like the meat calzone here. I have not had the pasta, but I hear it's really good too.

What I ordered was not what was in the box when I got home.

It is expensive! It is pizza!!! They charge too much for the salad bar. The food is good but is not worth what they are charging.

Ordered three toppings 8 inch then ordered an all the way and I said remove onions, add black olives. No one gave me total. Ordered over the phone. Paid 20.31, seemed high, pulled over. They charged me 1.99 for the olives. Called, lady got smart and said it's on the menu. Didn't order from a menu.Come to find out when I got home and looked online, IT COMES WITH BLACK OLIVES! GOT RIPPED OFF TWICE! I feel very misled.

Soooo good. I grew up eating here as a child and loved it. Recently visited as an adult because I moved away its been so long. And i devoured it. So good. And good service.

Been a great place ever since i was a small child. Good to visit just recently and see the food hasn't changed a bit.

Wonderful place to eat especially family gatherings! Pizza and salad bar are fantastic! The waitress's are nice, and consistent!

Spaghetti and meatballs are great. The pizza is always cheesy and the crust is perfect!

Hideaway’s pizzas are the best around in my opinion. Loaded with more cheese than I’d have ever expected, and cooked to perfection.

We got the All The Way pizza. 13" is plenty for 2 and its amazing! You don't need to order extra cheese. It's got plenty. Service was fast and friendly. We Will be going back

Best pizza in Florida!!!! Have been eating there for close to 30 years!

Several years ago I worked in Crestview and was turned on to Hideaway by a co-worker. I instantly fell in love with the place and actually got to the point where I was coming here 2-3 times a week. The staff has always been amazing and friendly. In fact, often I would walk in the door and my drink (ALWAYS get the sweet tea!) was already on a table waiting for me and my pizza was in the oven. You can't go wrong with Hideaway Pizza. I promise you that. My only suggestion is to avoid ordering extra cheese. You won't need it, take my word.My one regret is that I no longer work down here and only get to visit once or twice a year, if I'm lucky.

Wonderful pizza bar. Has only three to four choices at a time but good. Salad bar was fresh and lot of choices.

I go for the lunch buffet special. The salad is always good. I love how many options there are. They are very generous with their cheese there. You can't even see the toppings on the pizza due to the layer of cheese. The wait staff is always amazing!

Found this place driving through town at night years ago. I still remembered how good the pizza was until this day when I was passing through town again. They are reasonably priced and have more than just pizza. They don't skimp on the cheese which really helps set them a part from most pizza places. The walls are painted with beautiful scenes and the staff is nice and helpful. If you are in the mood to try a local place for pizza, this is definitely a place to try.

I was with a large group (20+) and I just knew the service would be horrid. But it wasn't. The server was phenomenal. It didn't seem like anybody had to wait for a drink refill. I had beer so you know I was happy not having to wait.I got the "crustless" pizza. It was very good, but I won't lie and say it was just as good as normal pizza. I will order it again. From the comments from the rest of the group I believe everyone enjoyed their food. I didn't hear any complaints.

This is the best Pizza I have ever eaten. I have been to New York and Chicago, and nothing beats this pizza! Absolutely amazing!

I have been coming to the hideaway since they opened it,I have moved away and have traveled to every state,(except Hawaii) with that being said to this very day ,I have never had any better pizza,there not cheep with,the cheese ,topping or friendly service.i'm on a rear trip back to visit friends & family. So this will be our dinner (feast) tonight. Yes I turned down a steak for this.

In my opinion I like this pizza place better than any other in Crestview. The pizza is good and the Stromboli is amazing. But what I enjoy most is the cheesy bread Its the best cheesy bread I've ever had. And they range from small to extra large. When the salad bar is open i go to town on it

Staff friendly and efficient.Cared to listen to how I wanted the sandwich heated too along with condiments.Presented well, fresh, would have preferred a little au Jus.. but for quick stop between appointments for late lunch, worked out well enough.

Best place for pizza. Came from Pensacola for an appt and stopped for lunch. Miss the buffet!

The food was amazing, but I'm giving 4 stars because I'm not sure if the policy is supposedly only 1 refill of fountain drinks or what but my drink definitely was needing another refill and the server looked at it and then asked the others at my table if they would like a refill. As a server myself, I always ask everyone, especially with low drinks, if they'd like a refill or just bring a refill, but my server just ignored me after the first refill.

My family wanted to try a new pizza place and ended up ordering the stromboli, spaghetti, and a meatball sub. We really enjoyed it nonetheless. My daughter never likes anything and she ate all of her spaghetti and it was fairly inexpensive.

Food and service was excellent.

Decided to check this place out and got great service from Kara. I wasn't expecting the buffet to be appealing to me, but the salad and pizza options looked wonderful! It tastes as good as it looks and I enjoy the quiet ambience. Plenty of parking as well.

The salad bar had nearly nothing on it and it was expensive. The pizza was good and hot but it wasn't worth $42 for two of us to share a pizza and have one trip to the salad bar. The waitress was very nice.

A very underwhelming experience. I like cheese as the next girl, but it can be overkill. Crestview just doesnt have many pizza options. I do like the location.

I enjoy the comfortable atmosphere this place. Even though I was down there on business the place felt nice. The people were nice and a pizza cooked within an acceptable time. And I'd love to go back because that was great pizza

This place has the perfect name for one of the top pizza establishments in crestview, my family and I requested one 15" supreme and one 15" meat lovers, and they both surpassed expectations both pizzas where hearty, fresh, and very delicious.The only reason why I give them 4 stars is because of the help; I admit that we came in right before closing and they where unusually busy for such a time and the waitress was most likely one of the closing staff, but I'm certain that the next time we visit (which will be soon) I will remove this bit and award the fifth star.
